Gnawwy, my in-development combination Twitter/email/RSS notifier (only Twitter works so far), is in version 0.0.1, the first version that actually does something! Go ahead and download it here. Oh, and I did change my Twitter password, so don’t bother trying to log in with that password. Also, I recommend against changing the update interval in gnawwy.py to shorter than 60 seconds, as only 100 update checks are allowed per hour.
Next version will include storing usernames/passwords in a configuration file and e-mail checking.

/ June 28, 2009I can’t get this working right. When I execute gnawwy.py, it turns my cursor into an x and freaks out. I see nothing wrong with the code in gnawwy.py, it must be in twitterparser.py. Any ideas?

/ June 28, 2009That’s odd. I have no clue what’s going on; is gnawwy giving you any output/error messages? If so, could you post it here? Or if not, describe exactly what it does and what you did after you downloaded it from git.
I’m actually working on the next version right now; should be done today (as in, within the next 24 hours). Maybe that’ll fix whatever bug this is.
